Role:
You will be supporting the team delivering draughting services. MEP / building services industry experience is essential. You will also be proficient in the use of Revit and ideally have some BIM knowledge.
- Produce models and drawings ensuring compliance with relevant local and national standards.
- Work with all members of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide input to the pre-construction Health and Safety Plan, including risk assessments, so that it can be prepared and updated at appropriate intervals.
- Ensure technical content of all work is carried out in accordance with the agreed timescales and budgets.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure project requirements are met and drive efficient delivery.
- Participate in project reviews relating to design, progress, and construction to receive questions and challenges in a constructive manner.
- Proactively research, present and implement innovative new processes and ways of working to optimise output.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical services industry ideally but not essential.
- Comply with company standards which are based upon BS19650
Requirements:
To be considered for this MEP / REVIT Technician role you must meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of Building Services sector.
-Good understanding of construction and mechanical /electrical engineering methodologies and sequencing.
-Proficient skills in REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation & ProjectWise editions.
-Skilled in both 2D drafting and 3D modelling techniques.
-Good working experience in Revit and Navisworks and BIM
-Have good knowledge of COBie and how generate schedules
-Fluent in Microsoft Office 360.
-Excellent communication skills and have a passion for solving design issues through the use of technology.
-You will demonstrate the passion and flair to work with a number of teams to produce easy-to-follow and relevant computer aided engineering solutions.
