Number 1- Championship manager 1992   

This football management simulation game was the first of its kind and paved the way for the later released football manager game.



Number 2 – Age of Empires series      

These games are all strategy games, based on historical events, giving players the opportunity to develop civilisations.  

The games feature many different periods in time such as the stone age and iron age.




Number 3- Stronghold Series 2001

Developed by Firefly Studios in 2001, Stronghold is another historical strategy game.

The aim of the game is to create and maintain a strong economy and build a strong military to defend against invaders whilst all the time  trying to accomplish the objective missions of the game.





Number 4- Sim City series   

The first game in the series was published by Maxis and paved the way for several sequels and spin offs including The Sims in 2000.

The aim of the game was to create, build and maintain a city from an empty piece of land. The player can choose where to position buildings, utilities and roads, and provide the city with public services such as hospitals and schools. The game also through in some curve balls in the shape of natural disasters for the player to contend with.



Number 5 – Total war series     

developed by The Creative Assembly for PC, Total war is a series of strategy games, some of the titles include, Medieval, Rome and Empire.

The aim of the games is all about conquering and managing, as the player strategically instructs battles, to dominate through military force.
