Role:

Providing weekly and monthly reports and briefing managers and contractors. 

Monitoring progress on sites and compliance with key performance indicators carrying out checks and audits of work and providing information to your line manager and other stakeholders. 

Producing progress reports and making recommendations to improve the service.
You’ll be proactive in identifying potential difficulties, swift in taking preventative actions and detail focused when reporting on contract progress.
You’ll be quality focused when meeting project targets and your technical knowledge will be invaluable when executing projects in accordance with standards.

My client is a national building main contractor with a busy workload.

This employer is looking to recruit a permanent Clerk of Works to work on general build sector projects.

Requirements: 

To be considered for this Clerk of Works role you must meet the following criteria:

- Knowledge of Building Sector.
- Ideally previous employment as a Clerk of Works. Candidates looking to transfer into role from a site or design background may also be considered.
- Previous experience / knowledge in building sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Extra Care Housing, MOJ, Industrial, Education or Healthcare.
- Previous Main Contractor employment would be ideal, candidates will also be considered from Design Engineering and Project Management Consultancies.
- Good communication skills. 
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc). 

Remuneration:

The successful Clerk of Works will receive:

*£40,000 - £55,000 Basic (Dependent on experience)
*Car / Allowance
*Family Healthcare
*Pension (Very Competitive) 
*x 2 Bonuses a year
