Business Development Coordinator or Manager - Building / Construction (Birmingham or Leicester to suit)
(Coordinator or Manager level, both considered)

My client is one of the UK's leading building main contractors.
Role:
You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and the Midlands Work Winning Team to implement the companies business development and marketing strategy
- You will help create momentum across the whole Midlands team in improving the businesses customer journey and cultivating new leads
- You will track and report lead development in the Midlands
- You will input and maintain information on company cloud-based CRM system
- You will assist in organising Midlands events
- You will attend networking and insight events of interest in our region, building intelligence and contacts
- You will be confident in creating/co-creating written and visual marketing content for Midlands projects and initiatives.
- Coordinating photography/film for Midlands Projects
- Assembling award entries for Midlands projects
- You will be a confident proof reader and be able to support the business development team with reviewing and critiquing written material
Requirements:
To be considered for this Business Development Coordinator role you must meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of Construction / Building, Civil Engineering, Water, Infrastructure, Rail or Power sectors.
- Previous employment as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager or coordinator.
- Previous experience interfacing with clients.
- Previous Building sector experience would be ideal
-Ability to seek and develop new relationships to achieve strategic business
objectives.
- Ability to convert client relationships into opportunities for the business.
-Create a culture of constructive and effective communication
-Communicate with authority and conviction in all situations with all levels of
staff/client organisations.
-Ability to contribute to development of strategy and take responsibility for delivering
strategic objectives.
Location: Midlands
Opportunity to be based at either of this companies midlands offices (Birmingham or Leicester) with some remote work also.
Remuneration:
The successful Business Development Manager will receive:
- £35,000 - £50,000 Basic (Dependent on experience)
