Role Overview:

As Bid Coordinator you will manage proposals function including the production of high quality professional submission documents for all bids and developing customer-specific styles for each submission.

Reporting directly into the Pre-Construction Director, this person will work closely with the bid managers to prepare and develop work winning plans, agreeing key deliverables and managing submission timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all quality elements of bidding including presentations and other quality related activities
  • Collaborate with all parties to deliver winning submissions
  • Work closely with external reprographics companies to ensure all submission materials meet the required deadlines
  • Design and produce high-quality, client-focused tender documents and provide support to the business development team
  • Work with bid managers and the wider team in development of responses that are attractive, concise using InDesign and bring out the benefits of our offer
  • Check the consistency and quality or responses in terms of win themes, messages and key words
  • Maintain and manage a library of high quality case studies, images, charts, diagrams and bid responses
  • Review tender documentation to identify tender requirements, attending project launches and review meetings to ensure information is provided in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support the bid team in the development of presentations


Requirements: 

To be considered for this Bid Co-ordinator vacancy you will likely have the following attributes:

- You Strive for High Quality and take pride in your work.
- Previous employment as a Bid Writer, Proposals Engineer, Marketing Coordinator or Bid Coordinator.
- Ideally previous experience in building or Civils sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Extra Care Housing, MOJ, Industrial, Education or Healthcare.
-Ideally Previous Main Contractor employment, either regional or national builders. 

Location: Solihull

This company is based on a business park local to rail and motorway links.

Remuneration:

The successful Bid Co-ordinator will receive:

*£25,000 - £40,000 basic (Dependent on experience)

*Company Car / Allowance

*Competitive Pension

*28 days holiday + Bank holidays + option to buy more holidays.
